Eight years ago, we started with nothing but a shared love for animals and a deep urge to help those suffering on the streets. Treating injured and sick strays right where they lay, we realized that compassion alone wasn’t enough—these voiceless souls needed structured care, medical attention, and a strong support system. That’s how Malda Animal Care Unit was born. What began as a small group of animal lovers soon grew into a movement, uniting people across the district to stand up for the helpless. Today, our NGO is not just a name; it’s a promise to every animal in need.

Registered under the Trust Act of 1920, recognized by the MCA’s CSR platform, and approved under sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, our journey has been one of dedication and resilience. With the guidance of experienced veterinarians, we continue to rescue, treat, and rehabilitate animals while also raising awareness about their rights. Every life we save reaffirms our belief that kindness can change the world—one paw at a time.
